Hi, I’m Abigail—

I am a clinically Licensed Independent Social Worker and Supervisor (LISW-S) through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board (Phew, say that 10 times fast).

My pronouns are She/They. In my earlier career I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Master of Social Work from Tulane University. I have an extensive educational background in the field of mental and behavioral health. For more than 10 years, I have concentrated my professional resume on working with adolescence, young adults and families. Experiences include, but not limited to, school-based programming across multiple states, court-related programming in two different states, intensive community-based emotional and behavioral health treatment in and around the Central Columbus area, as well as clinical work in the private sector working with folx who identify on the LGBTQ spectrum.

My background in social work allows me to use a holistic pathway to treatment, integrating evidence based therapies with innovative approaches. I am trained in a number of modalities and have found a love for Play Therapy and EMDR. I enjoy incorporating additional evidence based practices such as Expressive Arts, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Systems Work into my practice.
